Jim Wise

Jim Wise brings a rare depth of professional entertainment experience to the Carolinas' music scene. His unique journey began on the diamond, but after a short professional baseball career, Jim traded his glove for a guitar. He cut his teeth performing in packed country bars across the nation, ultimately landing a major record deal with CBS Nashville.

As a Nashville recording artist in the 1990s, Jim secured several country hits, toured as an opening act for major national artists, and won the prestigious King Eagle Independent Video of the Year Award in 1993.

Today, Jim is the driving force, lead singer, and lead guitarist of Wise Country. Operating under a professional LLC, he channels his decades of industry heritage into delivering high-energy performances. While his primary focus is taking his own band to the top, Jim also utilizes his deep industry connections to occasionally book other elite entertainment acts.
